Did you know that you can freeze bubbles? These temperatures are perfect for using that left over bubble mix from the summer. Go outside on any day when it’s below 32 degrees F and try this: blow a bubble and then catch it on the bubble wand. Wait a few moments while it freezes- it will turn into a cool crystal ball before it shatters!
You can also make icy crystals with your bubble solution! To do this: dip a large loop in the bubble solution – but dont blow a bubble. Instead, watch the crystals grow. The will form a lattice structure!
Too cold to go outside? You can learn how to make your own crystal ball bubbles in the freezer with soap by checking out the site below…

Plastic Surgeon’s Warning of the Day: Dr. Anthony Youn, a plastic surgeon who operates out of Metro Detroit, warns readers in a post on CNN’s health blog The Chart that smoking “can make your nipples fall off.”
He recounts a story he first told in his memoir, In Stitches, about a patient of his who was undergoing a breast lift, when her nipples suddenly turned purple. “Purple is the precursor to black,” he writes. “Black is the precursor to falling off.”
Dr. Youn explains that the nicotine in cigarettes, combined with the carbon monoxide in cigarette smoke, diminish blood flow, acting together “as a virtual tourniquet.”
To combat this effect, the surgery staff was forced to go “medieval,” and reach for their jar of leeches.
As a result of the aforementioned side-effects of smoking, insufficient blood supply causes veins to fail, leading to a “backup of old (venous) blood” around the affected body part. “We use leeches,” he says, “to literally suck out the excess venous blood from the body part, acting as an attachable vein.”
So if you’re a smoker and you’re going in for a breast lift or reduction, what do? “quit smoking at least one month before surgery and…stay off cigarettes for at least a month afterward.”
Or, you know, forever.

Frida Kahlo
“I was born a bitch. I was born a painter.”
Mexican painter, feminist, communist. In her late teens, she was involved in a horrible bus accident that shattered the bones in her feet, and broke the bones in her leg, ribs, and pelvis. The pain from these injuries would remain with her for the rest of her life, and she would eventually undergo more than 30 surgeries. In order to cope, she painted many self-portraits of her own glorious mug. Sometimes the surgeries would leave her bedridden for days on end, but she never stopped painting. She was very outspoken and witty, and she had male and female lovers. Her life was filled with much sadness, but through it all she had much fortitude and remained strong.

Beliefs about the Future Can Impact Your Mood Today
When there is something to look forward to, you are more likely to be happy until the time comes. Whereas if something bad is about to happen, you are more likely to become depressed. This is intuitive. However, we are not always consciously aware of the effects. If we become more conscious of this, we can make ourselves happier by planning events ahead of time that makes us happy.
